B1 English - Fridays 2:20pm

Welcome to the B1 English course. In this post I'll give you information about the course and other resources.

Aim

The aim of the course is to help you feel more confident in English. We will do lots of speaking and will also practice grammar and vocabulary.

Book

We'll be working with a great course book that allows you to do self-study at home so that you can make lots of progress.

At home

It's important to practice your English at home. You can do this by working with the course book. It's a good idea to do at least 15 minutes every day. If you can do more, that's even better. As well as the book, you should also start listening to English. There are lots of podcasts you can listen to. One of my favourite ones for B1 learners is 6-minute English from the BBC.

Other activities you can do include:

  • Use English whenever you can - talk to a neighbour or use English at work if possible.

  • Follow English teachers on social media.

  • Start writing a diary in English - maybe just 2 sentences every day.

  • Read some of the blog posts on this website.

How to join

This is a small group course for learners who are approximately B1 level. Lessons are held in person in Kreis 6. Students can join at any time. Contact me now to sign up.
