Quizzes for my students

Quizzes are a great way of learning, they are fun and can be done as a team. I try to include them in lessons, especially at the end of term.


Here are a few that I have used in class or in my free time that I would like to share.


Idiom quiz


This quiz is based on the idioms discussed in the Wednesday conversation class over the last term. Idioms can be quite difficult to use, especially if there isn't an equivalent one in your first language. However, my students are really interested in them so we often spend a bit of time talking about them.

General knowledge quiz


I'm doing a lot of quizzes at the moment with my family and friends in England and thought that I would share some of them. They are a really nice way of keeping in touch during lockdown.

Birthday quizzes
