One-off English classes

Living in Zurich I know that there are many people here who have got fantastic English skills but are a bit worried because they don’t get to use their English skills as often as they would like.

If you are one of them, I have some great options for you.

How about signing up for a half-day experience where you get to use your English for three to four hours in the company of other English learners?

I’ll organise the day and will make sure that you are using your English. We’ll also do the lesson in a special location – it could be a trip to an art gallery, an afternoon at the cinema followed by a discussion about the film, or a trip to a garden.

The first trip I’m planning is a trip to Seleger Moor in April or May. Seleger Moor is a beautiful garden near Rifferswil featuring rhododendrons and hundreds of other plants and trees.

We’ll meet at the train station in Zurich and go to Seleger Moor together (by train and bus). We’ll wander around the gardens and stop to have a picnic lunch, then will head back to Zurich together. All the time, you’ll be using your English, so really improving your skills on making small talk.

• Saturday 9th May

The cost will be 60chf per person, plus you’ll need to pay for your train ticket, entry to the park and lunch.
